DPD is a Valuable 500 company and a Disability Confident Employer Job Description Purpose of Position As International Development Manager your primary responsibility is to develop the company's international customer base, deliver revenue targets, drive profitability and accelerate growth. In this role you will be part of a specialist team of sales professionals who thrive in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of global trade. Key Task & Responsibilities Managing both an existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities sufficient in size to fund new international business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur Successfully handover all new accounts to relevant member of the International Strategic Account team or CRM team portfolio within 6 months of trade. Joint appointments should be carried out with each handover and ensure the account is achieving over revenue levels as outlined by the business. Identifying trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets for both core international services and new bespoke solution opportunities Championing the partnering process wherever possible with any new prospect, providing the international expertise in leading the implementation process of new international customers and aligning the appropriate teams in support of this Achieving all international portfolio product targets as laid down by the company Embracing all new international products as and when launched by the company by identifying and winning suitable new business opportunities where necessary to support the development and establishment of these products Obtaining all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to a minimum of ISO standard Striving for exceeding the target criteria each year Maintaining and updating Salesforce records daily and in compliance with company procedures.
