WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? (REQUIREMENTS)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high aptitude for customer service
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures:Understanding of import/export processes, documentation requirements, and trade compliance
• International Logistics Coordinating the shipment of parts to international customers, including arranging transportation, managing customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Documentation Preparing and reviewing all necessary documentation for international shipments, such as import/export permits, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Ability to convey technical information via telephone or email to customers
• Process-oriented problem solver
• Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented ensuring accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products with strong skills in MS Excel and Word

Desired Skills:

• Strongly prefer a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Prior experience in a customer call center, parts coordination and logistics is preferred
• Prefer prior experience interpreting technical information (similar to Lantech BOMs)

Education

• High School diploma required. College coursework preferred.

• Answers customer calls and email requests for parts inquiries, develop customer quotes, and process orders for both domestic and international shipments.
• Includes preparing international shipment documentation.
• Conducts computer-based research to identify customer-required parts.
• Periodically provides after-hours / weekend emergency parts ordering support coverage.
