  • Lead procedural or technological change within a unit.
  • Identify new problems and seek information and input to fully understand the cause of problems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
  • Draw logical conclusions and provides opinions and recommendations.
  • Research equity, diversity, accessibility and inclusion resources and best practices relevant to the job and unit operations in order to inform evidence-based planning.

Responsibilities

Acts as first point of contact for students, faculty and staff who need academic resource support related to student academic success.

Plans and coordinates events, programs and services related to student academic success including scheduling, securing venues, logistics, and technical support.

Coordinates event registration, including updating the event registration system, monitoring registration numbers, and communicating with registrants.

Collects, compiles, and consolidates data based on surveys, interviews, and other program data.

Coordinates team meetings including agenda, minutes, materials preparation, and scheduling.

Coordinates student academic success projects.
-
Coordinates the recruitment and monitoring of student volunteers.
-
Generates reports for event and programming assessment.
-
Researches and edits content for marketing and promotional communications.

Maintain inventory and coordinate the loan of program resources and supplies.

- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

Required Education

  • Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree, or equivalent.

Required Experience

  • More than 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.

Required Licenses and CertificationsVulnerable Sector Screening required.

- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check required.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
