Description

About the job

Our Client is a leading Australian health and wellness business with a strong portfolio of established brands across Australia and international markets.

The business is currently undergoing a significant period of transformation across its supply chain, including the transition to a new 3PL operating model and the implementation of SAP. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of change and play an important role in strengthening its international logistics operations.

The Role of International Logistics Lead will predominantly focus on export logistics, taking ownership of a number of APAC markets, managing shipments from order fulfilment through to delivery while ensuring customs, documentation and compliance requirements are met. Working closely with the business, customers and its 3PL partner, you will also play an important role in troubleshooting issues, improving processes and strengthening visibility across the supply chain.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in the detail and wants the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas and grow their career as the function continues to evolve.

We're looking for

  • Solid experience across export logistics and international freight.
  • Strong understanding of customs compliance, shipping documentation, FOBs and Certificates of Origin.
  • Experience coordinating sea and air freight, with a strong understanding of end-to-end export processes.
  • Experience working across APAC markets would be highly beneficial.
  • FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare or a similar product environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A genuine continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes.

What's on offer

  • Permanent opportunity with a leading Australian health and wellness business.
  • Competitive salary + superannuation
  • Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in the Surry Hills office and 2 days WFH.
  • Opportunity to join during a significant period of supply chain transformation.
  • Genuine scope for career development and increased responsibility as the function evolves.
