Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused International Move Coordinator (IMC Level 2) to join our team! As the main point of contact for assignees during their international relocation, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and seamless household goods moving experience from start to finish. This role requires outstanding organizational skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage logistics and client relationships with care and precision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Customer Service & Communication (40%)

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and their employees during the move process
  • Set clear expectations and provide proactive, empathetic communication
  • Support customers globally via phone and email—occasional after-hours work may be required (especially during peak summer season)
  • Monitor service quality and maintain strong customer satisfaction scores
  • Take full ownership of each assigned move

Logistics Coordination (20%)

  • Manage the full logistics process including routing, pricing, and vendor coordination
  • Collaborate with household goods movers, truckers, steamship lines, and port brokers
  • Ensure compliance with customs and government regulations
  • Resolve logistical challenges quickly and effectively

Move Administration (20%)

  • Maintain accurate data and documentation in internal systems (Globalcom, PROMOVE, Navision)
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation
  • Ensure all billing, expenses, and paperwork are completed accurately and on time
  • Support the claims process when necessary

Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution (20%)

  • Actively monitor and manage customer and vendor issues
  • Negotiate and resolve disputes
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancements and collaborate with leadership
