Description

We are hiring for an International Operations Coordinator with a heavy focus on 4PL experience, international freight forwarding, drayage and air logistics
This role is on site full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Pay Range is $50k - 60k depending on experience

  • International Logistics Experience (air, ocean, multimodal, drayage)
  • Import experience specifically (export only will not be sufficient)
  • Experience working for a freight forwarding company

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the shipment process, including booking cargo, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to facilitate efficient transportation and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their cargo
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other documentation
- Monitor and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and minimize costs
- Collaborate with various departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure high levels of service to internal and external customers
- Handle inquiries and provide customer support to solve problems or concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Experience in the industry is necessary
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
