Business Unit The S3 HR and Management Line follows a "User-Focused and Employee-Oriented" philosophy and employs a three-pillar HR organization model. By offering "productized services and marketized management," the S3 HR and Management Line provides comprehensive support for developing Tencent's organization, talent, and culture, enabling employees to grow with the company. What the Role Entails Global Payroll Operations Support end-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries, ensuring payroll is delivered accurately and on time. Validate payroll inputs including employee data, tax, social security, benefits, allowances, and deductions. Review payroll reports and perform payroll reconciliations to ensure data accuracy. Partner with external payroll vendors to resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries. Compliance & Governance Ensure payroll activities comply with local employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Support statutory reporting, payroll audits, and compliance reviews. Maintain payroll documentation, process maps, SOPs, and governance records. Stakeholder Partnership Provide payroll support to employees, HR Business Partners, Finance teams, and other stakeholders. Respond to payroll-related inquiries professionally and timely. Collaborate across regions to support payroll initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Data & Process Excellence Maintain payroll databases and reporting dashboards. Analyze payroll trends, exceptions, and operational metrics. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and employee experience. AI & Digital Transformation Participate in payroll automation and AI-driven initiatives. Leverage Excel, data analytics, and AI tools to improve payroll processes and reporting. Support global payroll transformation projects and system enhancements. Who We Look For Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related disciplines. Fresh graduates or less than 1 year relevant and progressive payroll experience are encouraged to apply. Internship experience in HR, Payroll, Finance, Shared Services, or Operations is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Comfortable working with data and numbers. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis). Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation tools) is highly desirable. Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
