Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our International Publishing Manager, you’ll oversee the full publication process for our English and French language ebooks and audiobooks. You’ll choose titles together with the acquisitions team and be responsible for managing the production team, coordinating releases, and ensuring smooth collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
In addition to leading the team, you’ll also manage your own book projects from acquisition handover to publication. You’ll be responsible for finding the right target audience, keeping production on time and on budget and to create books readers will love.
This is a key operational role with functional leadership responsibilities from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage the publication schedule for English and French titles
  • Lead a small team of project managers
  • Oversee and continuously improve editorial production workflows
  • Take on full responsibility for your own book projects
  • Ensure quality assurance and metadata readiness
  • Track and manage production budgets and external costs
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales for launches and campaigns
  • Maintain transparent communication and prioritization within the team
  • Optionally take on line management, either right away or as a next step
