The International Regional Vice President (IRVP) of Field Ministry is responsible for providing spiritual leadership, ministry direction, training, resources and support for the international region to achieve the vision and mission of FCA. The IRVP is responsible for ensuring the execution of our strategic plan in the region, the expansion and development of staff, ISA's (International Sports Affiliates), ISP's (International Sports Partners), the development of leadership boards and the growth of financial resources. They ensure the effectiveness of the ministry by leading strategically, organizationally, collaboratively, and tactically with the Country Directors, ISA's and ISP's to develop and execute ministry plans and carry out the mission. The IRVP models the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in dealing with staff, donors, volunteers, coaches and athletes. They are responsible for ensuring the ministry of FCA is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to the FCA policies and procedures. MINISTERIAL DUTIES These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship. * Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement. * Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA. * Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others. * Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement. * Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times. SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP * Seek to become more Christlike by incorporating a spiritual growth plan in their lives (bible reading, study, discipleship and serving). * Maintain sound biblical doctrine. * Utilize the FCA sabbatical policy for spiritual renewal. * Be active in a local church. MINISTRY ADVANCEMENT Ensure FCA Country Directors, ISA's and ISP's throughout the region are engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes by ministering to and through the coach with 1-on-1s, Huddles and Events. TALENT ADVANCEMENT Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and developing effective and diverse staff aligned with FCA's ministry strategy and methods for the region. * Recruit: Assist IRVPs to actively recruit and attract highly qualified staff prospects to specific vocational ministry opportunities identified in the vision-based staffing plans. * Hire: Help IRVPs hire staff to fulfill specific roles and responsibilities based upon their calling, character, competence, commitment and chemistry. * Train: Provide knowledge and resources necessary to develop the culture and increase the capacity and competence of staff and volunteers in the Division to effectively execute their responsibilities and fulfill their potential. * Develop: Prepare staff in the Division to lead self, lead others, lead teams and lead organizationally in their current roles, growing personally and professionally to become better prepared for future opportunities. DONOR AND BOARD ADVANCEMENT * Assist staff to recruit, train and develop effective and diverse Leadership Board Chairs and Board Members who are committed to pray, serve, and give to the ministry. * Ensure that staff have a strategy to connect, communicate and care for Board Members and donors who are serving and giving in various capacities including locally, regionally, and organizationally. * Serve as the chief fund raiser and financial manager. * Ensure that staff establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by training and developing staff in growing Home Teams, Major Donors and Events. INTERNATIONAL ADVANCEMENT * Ensure their assigned U.S. Regions are informed and receive updates on the Pray, Give, Go strategy for the region. * Ensure synergy with the Global Division and the assigned US Regions support our international strategies. *     Qualifications This position is in Seoul, South Korea.
