For our office in Amstelveen, we are looking for two new colleague’s for the position of International Sales Support for covering Maternity Leave (6 months)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Daesang Europe B.V. is the European sale office of Daesang Corp. in S. Korea. Daesang is a well-known company in S. Korea and produces feed & food ingredients and consumer food products. Daesang Europe has 25 employees. We intend to increase our sales activities in Europe in the food industry and we are therefore looking for an International Sales Coordinator.
The person we are looking for as International Sales Support has a good understanding of all Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint). You also need to be precise and detailed because you need to proceed many sales orders with a lot of Korean items (more than 600 stock keeping units). Preferably you understand the Korean or Asian culture well.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, in such a way that there is optimal customer satisfaction.
  • You are customer-oriented, solve customer complaints or make them negotiable internally.
  • You advise customers on the application possibilities, delivery times, quality matters.
  • Take care of the making and issuing of quotations, schedules, the sending of documentation and correspondence in the field of food laws and regulations as well as the monitoring thereof.
  • Communicate with quality, client service as well as with supply chain regarding technically feasible solutions for end customers.
  • Clearly and unambiguously record customer agreements and (technical) solutions in quotations.
  • Represent Daesang Europe (if necessary) at trade fairs, presentations and other meetings.
  • Advise customers on alternatives and possibilities for orders and stock problems.
  • Arranging paperwork (such as preparation of invoices, delivery instruction, import handling).
