JOB DETAILSKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Student Success Mentor, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities designed to support and inspire our clients:
- Student Mentoring and Consultation:
- Provide personalized mentorship to students, helping them navigate their study abroad journey from application to adaptation.
- Offer tailored guidance to address academic, cultural, and career-related challenges.
- Client Support and After-Sales Service:
- Deliver exceptional post-service support to clients, ensuring their needs are met even after their study abroad arrangements are finalized.
- Address all client-specific tasks, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Participation in Study Abroad Events:
- Represent Life Journey Global at international education fairs, including ICEF and St Travel, to engage with prospective students and partners.
- Collaborating with Educational Institutions:
- Meet with schools and educational organizations to gather critical information, establish new contracts, and review existing agreements.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Organize and facilitate both online and offline events that aim to inspire and inform students about study abroad opportunities.
- Business-to-Business Sales:
- Engage with schools, language institutions, and other educational organizations to promote Life Journey Global’s programs and services.
- Training and Supporting Sales Staff:
- Train and mentor new sales team members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for success in the industry.
- Managing Communication Channels:
- Respond to inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, LINE, email, and other platforms promptly and professionally, ensuring seamless communication across all channels.
- Miscellaneous Duties:
- Perform other relevant tasks that support the overall mission of Life Journey Global and its clients.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
To excel as a Student Success Mentor, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience Abroad:
- A significant study abroad experience that has broadened your understanding of international education and cross-cultural challenges.
- Industry Expertise:
- A minimum of two years of experience in the study abroad or international education sector.
- Passion for Mentorship:
- A strong commitment to helping young international students achieve their dreams through effective guidance and support.
- Exceptional Communication Skills:
- Proficiency in communicating across various platforms, including phone, WhatsApp, LINE, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
- Market Adaptability:
- The ability to respond promptly to clients based on their specific time zones and requirements.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Demonstrated success in identifying challenges and providing practical, innovative solutions.
- Independence and Multitasking:
- A proactive approach to managing responsibilities independently while balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- Relationship-Building Skills:
- Proven capability to foster and maintain strong partnerships with clients and educational institutions.
