OVERVIEW:

The purpose of this posting is to fill the position of International Student Plan Coordinator.
We are looking for candidates who are extremely organized and focused on customer service. Having an ability to communicate easily is the key to success for this position. Successful candidates should be willing to help and find solutions. Training will be offered. Travel may be required during peak periods.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in customer service
  • Knowledge of the college environment
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills required
  • Other languages an asset
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and other Office suite software
  • Ability to adapt quickly and be comfortable with change
  • Valid driver’s license, as some travel within the area may be required
  • Knowledge of health insurance is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Answering students’ questions related to their insurance plans by telephone, e-mail and in person
  • Process requests from our members in a positive and enthusiastic manner
  • Explaining the plan to small and large groups of students at information sessions and kiosks
  • Processing enrollments and payments
  • Documenting transactions and procedures
  • Use our main database platforms to document transactions, customer issues, and solutions implemented
  • Take responsibility for solving problems and monitoring their progress
