ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you like to become part of our team recruiting talented international students to a global top 10 university? Join Imperial’s International Student Recruitment Team and play a vital role in attracting the brightest talent from around the globe. As our International Student Recruitment Assistant, you’ll provide essential support to our international officers in their efforts to recruit exceptional students worldwide. Utilizing your excellent organizational and communication skills, you’ll manage a variety of administrative tasks, including acting as the first point of contact for prospective international students via visits, emails, and phone calls. You’ll also coordinate logistics such as freight deliveries, maintaining records, updating webpages, and assisting in organizing overseas trips and events. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting students in their journey to higher education, we’d love to hear from you

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

  • Supporting organisation of overseas trips and events
  • Acting as a first point of contact for prospective international students when they visit, email or phone the International Student Recruitment Team and to assist them in a timely and professional manner.
  • To manage the shipment of freight and the relationship with freight suppliers, ensuring freight is coordinated in a timely manner (this will require some manual handling of freight)
  • Raising purchase orders and invoices on behalf of the International Recruitment Team, researching new suppliers and ensuring the timely payment and recording of incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Updating the International Student Recruitment webpages with relevant content
  • Supporting the administration of the Student Ambassador scheme and related activities including Unibuddy
