Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

To grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare Toro’s U.S. international income tax compliance, including Form 5471’s and foreign branch/partnership filings, foreign tax credits, GILTI/NCTI, FDII/FDDEI, Pillar II, and transfer pricing to ensure arm’s-length intercompany transactions.
  • Forecast and compute quarterly and year-end tax provisions, including reconciliation of tax accounts, and other financial disclosure requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statement presentation.
  • Partner with tax management, foreign finance teams, and other key stakeholders on special projects, tax planning, audit defense and process improvement.
  • Support analytical decision-making on key strategic initiatives by developing data-driven solutions.
  • Learn and support current BI solutions to enhance automation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing US federal and state income tax compliance filings, calculations and supporting workpapers, while applying analytics to identify key drivers for variances.
  • Build and maintain healthy working relationships with team members and internal business partners.

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field of study.
  • Must have experience with federal and international income tax compliance.
  • Previous Big 4 or large national firm public accounting experience required.
  • Strong international tax technical skills and solid tax research skills.
  • Must be proficient with technology, with an ability to apply technology tools to improve processes.
  • Must be curious and maintain a passion for learning. Must be able to grasp difficult concepts quickly.
  • Team player – must have the ability to understand the big picture, yet dig into the details and help the team in any way needed.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex tax matters to non-tax professionals and partner with the business.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, with a bias toward action and the ability to keep multiple projects moving simultaneously
