Safilo is looking for a skilled International Tax Manager to join our team in Padova. Reporting to the Global Tax Director, she/he’ll lead cross-border tax matters, transfer pricing, and corporate tax compliance across our international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support global tax compliance in coordination with local finance teams
  • Oversee tax accounting (accruals, deferred taxes, reporting)
  • Manage transfer pricing and cross-border tax issues
  • Handle extraordinary tax matters (M&A, new entities, restructurings)
  • Support in the implementation and improvement of the Tax Control Framework, & tax risk controls processes
  • Monitor and respond to EU/OECD regulations (DAC 6, BEPS, Pillar II)
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to integrate tax into business decisions
  • Stay updated on global tax developments

You are the person we are looking for if:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Tax Law, or related field (Chartered Accountant a plus)
  • 7–8 years of experience in international tax (consulting + in-house preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of direct/indirect taxes, transfer pricing, international tax principles
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a global mindset
