The key responsibilities will be controlling logistics costs to meet budgets and Op Plans as the Transportation Bullet Train and audit logistics suppliers to ensure that the company’s compliance is maintained, as well as to assist the KPIs, business and functional metrics on all logistics cost processes being imported and exported. Roles and Responsibilities Control Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans as the Transportation Bullet Train Leader - ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations by analyzing variances and forecasting future performance Audit all logistics suppliers, during the Audit Cost process - PO x Invoice Review x Agreements Monitor and assist Logistics suppliers Payment process flow Understand Logistics Operational Processes, with experience of 3rd Party Logistics Supplier Engagement Daily Process Follow-up Assistance for KPIs, business and functional metrics on all logistics cost processes being imported and exported Provide support, to optimize Supply Chain processes and international trade compliance Leverage Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Logistics Best Practice techniques to further Logistics maturity Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economic or Business Administration Fluent in English and Portuguese International Trade Logistics knowledge Advanced computer literacy skills, with ongoing experience of windows-based packages Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Innovative, logical and creative approach to resolving issues and process improvements Must be an effective team player with ability to motivate others Must be adaptable to change Desired Characteristics Certified on Lean Six Sigma techniques - with a focus on Waste Removal and Digitization Kaizen Breakthrough | Improvement Project Experience | Understanding of Lean Principles such as Standard Work, 5S, Kaizen, GEMBA Experience in International Trade and Logistics Knowledge on OASIS SAP, Thomson Reuters International Trade Suite of Software and Brazilian Foreign Trade System GE is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
