Job Title: International Video Scouting Assistant Department: International Scouting Reports To: Coordinator, International Scouting Location: Venezuela Status: Full-Time Description: The International Video Scouting Assistant, International Scouting, will oversee the daily video recording and sports technology operations at assigned locations. Duties will include, but are not limited to: filming and logging games, workouts, and tryouts, and editing and uploading them. Additionally, the International Video Scouting Assistant will be responsible for maintaining all sports technology equipment, including setup, logging, and uploading data daily. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to contribute to the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Responsibilities: Film and accurately log all games, workouts, and tryouts using video systems. Efficiently set up and run various sports technology equipment, including but not limited to: Trackman, Blast Motion Sensors, and upload it at the end of the workout. Operate, troubleshoot, and support cameras and high-speed cameras. Upload videos from different regions around the world. Provide regular status reports to the Coordinator, International Scouting. Assist scouts with various initiatives as needed. Communicate effectively within the department and across other departments in the organization. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled college student Must be able to interact professionally with scouts, players, and front office personnel, and be a good team player Must be detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator Must be active, quick-thinking, and a good technology troubleshooter Must have the ability to work with and protect highly confidential information Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Currently based in Venezuela with reliable transportation for regular travel by car Previous experience working with BATS video system, Synergy Baseball and/or sports technology is preferred Preferred Qualifications: English speaking skills are valued. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
