Job Title: International Voice/SMS Termination (Account Manager)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Voice/SMS Termination Account Manager to drive global sales initiatives, manage carrier relationships, and grow revenue from international voice and SMS termination services. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, an extensive contact base, and a strong wholesale voice/SMS sales track record.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the international voice and SMS wholesale market.
  • Build strong relationships with telecom operators, aggregators, and carriers globally.
  • Negotiate bilateral and unilateral agreements for voice and SMS termination.
  • Monitor and optimize routing, pricing, and margins to ensure profitability and quality of service.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and forecasting tools accurately and timely.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of telecom interconnect, A-Z termination, CLI routes, SMS P2P/A2P.
  • Existing relationships with international voice and SMS carriers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel as required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in International Voice/SMS wholesale sales.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 carriers.
  • Technical knowledge of routing tools, switches (e.g., VoIP, Softswitch), and SMS platforms.
  • Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with anti-fraud practices and quality assurance processes in telecom.
