As a key member of the Stampede Toyota team and reporting to the New Car Sales Manager, the Internet Sales Specialist will work with the service department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.
Stampede Toyota is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a full-time Internet Sales Specialist at our location in Calgary.

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the New Car Sales Manager, the Internet Sales Specialist handles online customer inquiries and helps convert leads into showroom visits and vehicle sales. They ensure fast, professional communication, promote dealership offerings, and support digital sales goals through strong follow-up and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred
  • No prior sales experience necessary;
  • Experience in customer service or retail is an asset
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Basic math and financial handling ability
  • Focused on customer satisfaction and relationship-building
  • Valid AMVIC license and Class 5 Driver’s License
Responsibilities
  • Respond to internet leads via email, phone, or in person
  • Understand and promote dealership products and services
  • Sell or lease vehicles to online customers, meeting monthly targets
  • Guide customers to online product info and help with vehicle selection
  • Encourage customers to visit the dealership for in-person demonstrations
  • Respond quickly to emails and forward inquiries to the right departments
  • Personally manage all internet sales leads
  • Align internet promotions with store campaigns and advertising
  • Ensure website details are visible on all dealership materials
  • Work with third-party sites and auto-buying services
  • Help update the dealership website and post vehicle photos
  • Maintain a database of internet customers for follow-ups
  • Know applicable sales laws and dealership policies
  • Set and pursue monthly income goals
  • Stay updated on new products and attend sales training
  • Schedule customer’s first service appointment
  • Attend regular sales meetings and maintain a professional appearance
  • Other duties as assigned by management
