Intern Job Description   Essential Functions * Complete department project as assigned by department head * Assist with ongoing daily administrative tasks * Support department for event preparation * Prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents * Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects * Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks   Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education): * Must be eligible for school credit and enrolled as a student * Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 18 hours per week (20-30 hours preferred) * A minimum education level of a BA/BS Degree (4-year) in a related field * 2 – 4 years of related work experience preferred * Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other departments * Proficient in account management database systems, and have the ability to learn required business systems * Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook * Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills * Highly motivated, with a positive attitude * Detail-oriented and able to work independently * Competency with hand tools is preferred
