Description of the department Based in Madrid, Spain, the Financial Controller is servicing our clients and either our Fund and Asset Management with fund and asset models, plans and budgets, internal and external reports, performance measurements, analysis and control (actual vs. plan), and risk controlling. 3. The main responsibilities of the role • Produce annual, semi-annual, quarterly or monthly reporting and dashboards on financial, investment performance and accounting aspects (including IFRS), an ad-hoc external and internal reports. • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of productions of external service providers (Corporate Manager, Property Manager, Valuer and Tax advisor). • Prepare SPV and asset forecasts and variance analysis (including IFRS and cash aspects if applicable). • Monitor asset level performance (variance actual vs budget, asset performance, capex monitoring, rent arrears, etc) • Make the results available in the global IT system • Participate in transversal projects if requested and perform other tasks and project as assigned from time to time • Assist in SPV statutory accounts and audit SHARE your unique experience 4. Profile Education/Qualifications • University degree or similar in Finance or Management • Available for 12 months - Internship agreement mandatory Technical skills • Confident use of IT (especially advanced Excel), • Excellent communication skills (team spirit / flexibility), reliability • Excellent analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal language skills in Spanish and English Competencies • Team player • Proactive, enthusiastic, and results oriented • Rigorous, self-starter with capacity to take the initiative • Ability to manage simultaneous deadlines and work well under pressure Any skills or experience which are desirable but not necessary • Training courses related to Real Estate • Having studied or lived abroad Please join us to realize your potential to drive progress, for yourself, our clients and the world in which we live. #jt
