Internship (Bachelor’s) Collections - Prague.
Employment type: Part-time – 20h/week.
We have an opportunity for an Internship (Bachelor’s) – Collections to join us at Honeywell in Prague.
You would be establishing and maintaining contact with customers concerning past due invoices, payment trends, resolution of disputed invoices, and other matters related to past due receivables.
Liaising with different business functions at various business sites related to customer disputes, invoice copies, proof of delivery, contract/purchase order issues, etc.
Conducting business in a manner that promotes both internal and external customer satisfaction.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Collections of accounts receivable balances from our customers.
  • Maintaining a smooth functioning credit portfolio -supplying responsive, process-effective services to internal and external customers.
  • Ensuring past due and collection metrics are achieved on a portfolio of accounts.
  • Working closely with site sales, marketing organizations and company’s treasury to structure financing alternatives for customers requiring special financing and resolve disputes.
  • As an intern within the organization, you will, be tasked with assisting the team, and gain experience in Collections within a multi-dimensional and multi-national organization.Key responsibilities:
  • Providing support with preparation and negotiation of sanctions compliance legal terms for all Honeywell businesses.
  • Providing contract evaluation under the mentorship of Sanctions Compliance professionals – review of contract terms and conditions, background research, risk gap analysis.
  • Providing research of dynamic trade related laws in any of Honeywell key jurisdictions and preparation of summary of such research results.
  • Assistance in identifying and consolidating important data from contracts and supporting audit exercises when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Student of 4th or 5th year of University - Any relevant discipline.
  • Availability to work an average of 20h/week.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • English Language
