TEAM/DIVISION DESCRIPTION
Body Engineering Division is part of Toyota’s European R&D Centre. Body Engineering Division is responsible for the Design and Development of predominantly Upper Body components on the majority of new Toyota vehicles manufactured and sold in Europe. This includes key areas such as body shell & closures, exterior components and glazing, lamps, interior components and trim, the IP, seats & seat belts, functional body parts, and underbody shell components. The Advanced Body Development Team is a situated within the Body Engineering Division, and focuses on research and pre-development into exciting new areas of technology, applicable to these vehicle body components.
