Internship – Facilities and MRO Procurement The procurement organization is an essential part of JBT Marel’s global supply chain, contributing to cost savings, innovation, and strategic partnerships with vendors worldwide. As an intern in Facilities and MRO Indirect Procurement, you will gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, contract analysis, and vendor management while working closely with key stakeholders in the organization. What you’ll be doing: As an Indirect Procurement Intern based in Boxmeer, The Netherlands, you will support the Category Manager Facilities and the Category Manager MRO with a variety of procurement activities, including: Conducting market benchmarking, contract and commercial analysis to identify vendor consolidation and saving opportunities as well as to support medium and large vendor negotiations. Managing sourcing initiatives for vendors with an annual spend below $50K and providing local site procurement support. Collaborating with the local Facility Managers and Direct Manufacturing departments as the primary procurement stakeholders as well as with other stakeholders in Supply Chain, Innovation, Finance and Legal across sites and divisions (Poultry, Diversified Food & Health, Meat & Prepared Foods, Fish, Corporate and Service). Contributing to Indirect Procurement department activities and providing operational procurement support such as supplier classification and taxonomy updates. Identifying and implementing innovative ideas to enhance Indirect Procurement at JBT Marel. Who are you? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern who: Is currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field. Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Has strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills. Has a commercial drive. Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PowerBI. Is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic, global matrix organization.
