In your new role you will: Test and Validate: Support the testing and validation of control and protection IC products used in motor drive applications. Develop Test Plans: Create detailed test plans to evaluate device performance under various conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications. Set Up Experiments: Configure lab equipment, set up experiments, and run tests to collect meaningful data for analysis. Analyze Results: Process and analyze test data to assess product performance and identify potential areas of improvement. Troubleshoot Issues: Identify, debug, and resolve issues encountered during testing and validation processes. Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and application engineers, to ensure smooth project execution. Document Procedures and Results: Maintain comprehensive documentation of experimental setups, procedures, and outcomes to support internal knowledge sharing and reporting. Report Findings: Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders. You are best equipped for this task if you are/have: Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of Motor Drives: Basic understanding of motor control systems, including control algorithms, protection features, and motor drive architectures. Lab Experience: Prior experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power analyzers. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions. Software Skills: Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data processing and automation. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for documenting and presenting technical findings. Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
