Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented CAD designer Intern to help us in our mission by modelling vehicle components of our spacecraft.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in mechanical aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study.
• Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX or CATIA
• Experience with programming software such as Python
• Strong knowledge on aerospace vehicle design and associated challenges
• Fluent in English. German and French is an asset

• To build the CAD physical model of the vehicle components on Nx (Siemens CAD tool)
• To maturate the CAD models by adjusting the vehicle components based on the outcomes of the thermo-mechanical computation loops and system trade-offs
• To collaborate closely with thermal and structural analysts, materials, and manufacturing engineers to ensure compliance of the vehicle components with the mission environments and manufacturing constraints
• To provide manufacturing drawings and participate in reviews of designed systems
