Description

Climate change is real and we need to act fast. Our purpose is to restore the carbon balance in our atmosphere. We believe it’s important to have a positive impact on society, the economy, and the climate. Are you ready to join us on our mission?

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS SOMEONE WHO

  • Currently pursues either a Vocational (MBO) or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Is looking for an internship as per February/March 2025 for at least 3 months.
  • Brings lab experience. A lab doesn’t have any secrets for you!
  • Is a critical thinker by nature. You constantly analyze how processes can be improved.
  • Brings the ability to work independently based upon given guidelines or instructions.
Responsibilities

ROLE

Over the last few years, we’ve been working at the core of our technology; being a chemical sorbent as well as the machine around. Thanks to our latest prototype we’ve proven that our sorbent, as well as our technology, works.
Next up, is scaling our machines by building different prototypes. This means that we also have to scale up the production of one of our sub-systems. And that’s where we need you! You’ll support scaling the production of this sub-system by working hands-on in the lab as well as continuously optimizing the production process.
While spending most of your time in the lab, you’ll intensively work together with Selene van der Weijst (Lab Technician) as well as Arno van Hoof (Senior Researcher & Competence Group Manager Sorbent R&D). As we’re working towards standardizing the production of this sub-system, it’s up to you to constantly iterate the production process to ultimately work towards a standard operating procedure (SOP).

RESPONSIBILITIES

While we did our utmost best to give you a colorful context as given above, we’d also like to put your internship assignment in a few bullets. Simply to recap your assignment a bit more clearly.

  • Accurately execute the current version of the early production process.
  • While doing so, you critically analyze the producibility of the sub-system.
  • Come up with suggestions to improve the production process, and thus the sub-system, to work towards a standard operating procedure.
