This role is in our Westmont, IL facility. WHAT WE NEED  The Food Innovation Intern will be assigned projects that align with their educational track and have a direct impact on proactive innovation and technical readiness at BRF. The student intern will work directly with our Innovation Manager and Sr. Scientists, and a variety of other individuals within Innovation and Culinary functions. WHAT YOU WILL DO  * Assist BRF in technical experiments, ingredient assessments, and formula development. Projects may include: * Product landscaping to assess chemical and physical parameters for comparable in-market products * Designing and executing experiments to solve technical challenges * Procuring, testing, and recommending ingredients  * Formula development and processing at lab and pilot scale WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
