DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering School, or Information Technology or an equivalent field of study.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data from various sources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills , able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace . Programming skills will be a plus.
  • Interest in Aerospace, cyber and software products with a willingness to learn and adapt autonomously to new technologies.
  • English fluent, french language skills would be of advantage.

Responsibilities

The intern will support a transnational and international team of Commodity Managers who develop the Procurement Strategy for Software and Cyber. Our team supports Airbus Defence and Space products in all Business lines. The main tasks will be:

  • Assist the different Commodity Managers in the team to secure the acquisition of software licenses and cyber products, ensuring timely and cost-effective results.
  • Research potential vendors and products, gathering information on pricing, features, and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with the CMs to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of procurement documents (eg. NDAs, reports..etc.) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for our dashboard.
