Job Details Job Location: Headquarters Erie PA - Erie, PA 16501 Position Type: Internship We are looking for highly motivated college students who are eager to learn! All majors are welcome to apply. Interviews and Internships will be held in-person. Looking for proficiency in Excel, Word, and data entry. We require good communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn! We have flexible hours starting 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday. Internships will be on site at our Headquarters in Erie's historic Union Station. The program will run from May 2026 to August 2026. Internship Summary: This key position is both customer and vendor facing and requires strong customer service, computer, written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision in a team setting, possess strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills are vital. Daily tasks include quoting, routing, rating, carrier dispatch, shipment monitoring and tracing, and customer reporting. Responsibilities: Maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and carriers Manage new and existing customer accounts and solicit freight Process and generate shipment orders in company TMS Communicate with carriers and tender loads Plan, manage, and trace shipments Provide financial and shipment reports to customers and management Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities
