The Script As an Duty Manager Intern, you will work closely with our Operations Manager and General Manager, supporting the daily operations of the Front Office, Guest Relations, F&B, Housekeeping and Reservations departments. You will also gain insight into and work alongside our back-of-house departments, such as Finance, HR and Engineering, giving you a complete understanding of how all hotel teams connect and collaborate. You’ll get a unique behind-the-scenes look at our operation and actively contribute to ensuring all processes run smoothly. You will participate in projects related to hospitality, quality and operational optimization, working with various departments across the hotel. You are the connecting link between teams and help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests — from their first touchpoint to the moment they check out. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and communication skills. You will learn how to motivate colleagues, handle operational challenges and maintain close communication with all relevant departments. Step by step, you’ll grow toward an operational (team) leadership role. Qualifications Tick the Box! Does your story match ours? For this internship, we’re looking for someone who loves to think along, takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic hotel environment. Additionally, you: Are enrolled in an MBO or HBO study in Hospitality Management or a similar field; Are available for at least 6 months, but preferably 10 months; Are curious, independent and a true multitasker; Are available 4 or 5 days per week; Have a hands-on mentality and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves; Are flexible and don’t mind occasionally supporting outside of standard office hours; Have an affinity with hospitality, quality control and operational processes; Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
