Job Description As an intern within Rituals’ finance department, you will get the best of two worlds. You will start your journey within the finance operations team, where you will be supporting the (international) businesses by timely and accurately processing our invoices and incoming cash. During the second part of your internship, you will be part of the financial control team, where you will work together with a financial controller on several controlling projects. Good to know: Our finance function (~ 70 FTE) for Rituals Worldwide is located at our Amsterdam HQ, therefore we're responsible for the accounting operations of all countries where Rituals is active in. Within the finance department we have several sub teams, e.g., financial control, tax, internal control, finance operations and payroll. You will spend (most of) your time at our Amsterdam Central Head Office. We hope you can appreciate the view of one of the most iconic Amsterdam canals. YOUR ROLE With your latest knowledge gained during your study, you can help us improve processes and quality. While doing so, you will be interacting with your team lead, accounting assistants and our financial controllers daily and you’ll also be communicating with other colleagues in the local business and within the finance team, (local) vendors and landlords. Also, you will be assisting the financial control team to structure, implement and improve finance related processes within the finance department. YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES · Learning to work with our financial applications as Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, PowerBI etc. Supporting the finance operations team in processing invoices and PO matching; Keeping vendor cards, suspense accounts clean and processing bank statements; Assisting the financial control team in their period closing procedures; Working with experienced finance professionals in projects to implement and improve finance related processes. Qualifications Student (HBO level) – in the direction of finance; · Available for 32 hours/ 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months, starting September 2026. · You must be enrolled in your studies for the entire duration of the internship. Responsibilities
