Description

1. Research • Coordinate team efforts to provide insightful analyses in the Weekly Global Highlights publication. • Prepare timely market alerts on key economic indicators, including inflation, industrial production, GDP, FOREX reserves, and US and Malaysian Central Bank interest rate decisions, on a rotational basis. • Present Research in weekly market brief on a rotational basis. • Create comprehensive country analyses for the Emerging Market Channel, covering various EM countries. • Prepare quarterly market outlook reports for Asset Allocation presentation to the Head of Investment and Fund Managers. • Address advisory requests from stakeholders promptly and effectively. • Provide morning and afternoon Market Watch daily updates. • Maintain and update research unit presentation slides with the latest economic and market data. Who we are looking for: 1. Students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

The intern will conduct economic research, prepare market alerts, and create comprehensive country analyses for emerging markets. They will also provide daily market updates and assist with administrative tasks such as taking meeting minutes.
