Description

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Foundation - Possess a sound understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement). - Assist in maintaining and updating finance working files to support various reporting deliverables, including Business Performance Packs for Board, Management Committee (MC) and PCG Management. - Ensure data accuracy, completeness and proper documentation of supporting schedules. 2. Budgeting & Financial Planning Support - Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting processes. - Support finance teams in preparing presentations and financial insights for decision-making purposes. 3. Governance, Internal Control & Compliance - Develop a good understanding of internal control principles and PETRONAS/PCG governance requirements. - Assist in maintaining supporting documents for procurement, contract payments, staff claims, project sanctions and other finance-related transactions. - Ensure documentation is complete, properly authorised and complies with applicable policies, procedures and approval limits. - Demonstrate a high level of integrity, attention to detail and awareness of financial governance requirements and impact of non compliance.
