INTERNSHIP FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT AND TOOLING IMPLEMENTATION (D/F/M)

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Computer Science or similar field of study
  • Programming and Scripting Languages (Python, C, PowerShell)
  • Secure Shell Services (SSH, SFTP)
  • Jenkins is recommended
  • Networking fundamentals (Ethernet, IP, TCP)
  • English: fluent language knowledge recommended
  • German: fluent language knowledge required
  • You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Performing additional verification steps on a SW build
  • Generating more artefacts such as documentation
  • Adding pipelines with very short execution times (triggered on commits or by manually) and for tools developed by department
  • Optimizing existing pipeline (e.g. via incremental builds)
  • Improving the pipeline execution results documentation in the CI/CD tool
  • Introducing a comprehensive dashboard showing the live status of the software (e.g. build/test status + history/progress, LOCs, fixed defects, …)
  • Supporting the SW release step
  • Development and integration of a lightweight solution for monitoring general purpose discrete signals from within an existing test system
  • Extend plugin used for a test system
