Job Description
Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. Our highly skilled and experienced staff are covering the full suite of services including Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions and Tax, to name a few.
We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus, always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team. In this role, you will be part of a global team of Asset Master data Switzerland & Germany, which is responsible for opening and maintenance of securities assets directly provided by a local reference data provider. Opening and maintenance of internal securities assets based on data provided by client directly. Update and monitoring of asset evaluation prices. Opening and maintenance of bank transactional counterparties, including their relevant containers, NOSTRO Money Accounts, related Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI). Managing of correspondent connections (RMA).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience within the financial services is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handles well during a stressful environment
  • A service-orientated team player and has a strong motivation to be part of a dynamic team
  • An independent and proactive worker with good communication skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Fluent in English
Responsibilities
  • Opening and maintenance of listed securities assets directly delivered by a reference data provider
  • Opening and maintenance of bank internal securities assets based on the data and instructions received from the client/requestor
  • Updating and monitoring of asset evaluation prices
  • Processing of new openings, modification/maintenance and closure of interbank counterparties
  • Management of both cash and securities Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI)
  • Management of the RMA (Relationship Management - Bilateral key exchange / relations with counterparties)
