ABOUT US

Goodyear is a recognized leader in the tire industry, with additional expertise in mold manufacturing at a historic production site. As part of our commitment to operational excellence, we prioritize continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and team engagement.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of our industrial modernization and performance optimization program, we are looking for a motivated engineering intern to analyze our foundry production flows and propose both technical and organizational improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement in terms of organization, workstation layout, and critical equipment reliability.
  • Proposing actionable improvement recommendations using operational excellence tools (Lean, WPO, DEC, etc.).
  • Engaging stakeholders (operators, supervisors, support functions) to ensure strong buy-in for proposed changes.
  • Assessing information flows related to process parameters, product quality monitoring, and production progress tracking.
  • Recommending digitalization opportunities to enhance and streamline monitoring systems (dashboards, KPIs, traceability, real-time reporting, etc.)
