During your internship, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the work of a leading international medical technology company, in our research and development team for the development of novel tracking technologies for neurosurgicalnavigation systems. Our offer to you You will be part of an innovative research and development team and support us in the development of novel tracking technologies for surgical navigation systems. You will play a key role in the further development of current and future navigation technologies for use in the operating theatre. You will conduct research in the context of surgical navigation and use it as a basis to create an evaluation concept consisting of software and hardware components. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute your practical solutions to an international medical technology company and to work on new concepts and innovations for our navigation portfolio with your own ideas. What makes you stand out You are enrolled in a master's program in engineering (electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, medical technology) or natural sciences. You have a keen interest in technology and a passion for innovative products. Ideally, you also have an affinity for mathematics and software programming. You work responsibly and analytically and have a strong ability to understand complex systems (hardware and software) in their entirety. You already have knowledge in the field of data/image processing and electronics, in particular experience with MATLAB or Python (ideally supplemented by C, C++ or similar) is an advantage. A high degree of initiative, open-mindedness, communication and team skills, as well as very good written and spoken English skills, complete your profile. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
