Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 Factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Centre in the UK, is in its launch phase and growing continuously. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that make an impact. Supporting day-to-day activities within the Aero Design, Mechanical and R&D Group designing mechanical components or complete mechanical units, create technical drawings with ISO GPS standard. Assisting on updates of structural Wind Tunnel model parts or development projects Conducting research, analysis, or data entry as required Collaborating with team members and attending meetings Presenting findings or contributing to reports Learning and applying new skills relevant to the role Your profile Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Basic knowledge of MS-Office, Quality, Risk and Product lifecycle Management methods (FMEA, 5Why’s,…) Proficient in 3DEXPERIENCE or Catia V5/V6 (Solid and Surface) Knowledge of form and fit tolerancing and ISO GPS Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods Hands on experience (turning, milling, welding, etc.) is advantageous 1 year experience in a design related role within Formula Student (or similar) team Strong interest in Motorsport and developing innovative engineering solutions Good communication and teamwork skills Eagerness to learn and take initiative Ability to manage time and meet deadlines We are an equal opportunities employer.
