WHO WE ARE

Our mission has begun. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our global headquarters for worldwide cell production. As the heart of the company, the Operations division assumes overall responsibility for the production process. The division handles all product-related activities within battery cell production. Our tasks include the planning, construction and introduction of future battery cell factories. In addition, the planning and implementation of functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management are also key elements in the Operations division.

Responsibilities

We offer committed students the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical experience in the field of machine safety. Among other things, you will be responsible for developing templates, company specifications and functional specifications for risk analysis, safety concepts and other topics and documents relevant to machine safety. You will gain detailed insights into safety standards and regulations and work on exciting projects.

Carrying out comprehensive research in the field of machine safety.

  • Independent development of a conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the current Machinery Directive
  • Creation of company-wide specifications, regulations, templates, for internal use in DE but also for passing on to our locations in Spain and Canada as well as to future suppliers
  • Testing the developed process through verification and validation measures, e.g. participation in practical tests on the machine
  • Creating a change and impact analysis of the Machinery Directive applicable from 2027 and defining measures and tasks for the specialist departments and suppliers
