You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Candidates must be able to work either June 2nd to August 6th or June 23rd to August 27th. For Summer 2026, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco office. Interns will come into the San Francisco office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work from home every Monday and Friday.      SUMMARY  The Packaging Design Intern will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of this department–Designing and concepting for innovative beauty and skincare packaging with passion!  The intern will provide support to the Packaging Design team and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including the Production and Packaging Development teams.  In addition, they will be responsible for contributing to an individual project that will be presented to the rest of Kendo at the end of the summer.    RESPONSIBILITIES  * Participate in the development of new packaging concepts from ideating moodboards to execution  * Support the design process by creating mockups, refining existing concepts, and proposing new ideas  * Conduct research on current packaging design trends and discover innovative materials, structure, and printing techniques  * Observe consumer shopping behaviors related to beauty/skincare rituals, merchandising, online and in-store experiences  * Assist in the creation and maintenance of packaging style guide by compiling a library of past projects    REQUIREMENTS  * Rising junior, senior, or 2026 graduate of an accredited college or university within the past 12 months.  * Curiosity, creativity, beauty and skincare passion is a must!  * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator & Photoshop  * Familiarity with MS Office Suite  * Thrives in a fast-paced, often-changing, startup environment  * Flexible and positive attitude; Team player with strong interpersonal skills  * Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion is critical
