This position is scheduled to start in Jan 2026. As an Intern at EESS-Canada, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work alongside experienced professionals in the field. You will be involved in various projects and tasks that will help you develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical field. This role will provide you with valuable insights into the industry and prepare you for a successful career in the electrical field. Provide applied engineering in the areas of power system studies, power quality analysis and electrical power system design. Performing short circuit, overcurrent coordination, load flow, power quality and arc flash hazard analysis studies. Review project specifications, single line diagrams and equipment Bill of Materials. Prepare power system study data requests and follow up as required. Assist with electrical substation and protection & control design tasks. Manage paperwork and office procedures. Perform all work at a high level. All Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Degree program. All Candidates must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license Experience in the use of SKM PTW, ETAP, EDSA, CYME, or EasyPower power system analysis software would be a plus. Ability to read and understand single line diagrams and schematics would be an asset. Knowledge of applicable electrical code requirement and design practices an asset.
