Job Details Job Location: Headquarters Erie PA - Erie, PA 16501 Position Type: Internship We are looking for highly motivated college students who are eager to learn! All majors are welcome to apply. Interviews and Internships will be held in-person. Looking for proficiency in Excel, Word, and data entry. We require good communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn! We have flexible hours starting 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday. Internships will be on site at our Headquarters in Erie's historic Union Station. The program will run from May to August, 2026. Internship Summary: The Project Cargo Operations Intern will be responsible for a broad range of tasks encompassing cradle to grave shipping operations. Scope of work encompasses taking in customer shipment requests and ensuring that on-time delivery targets are met. A Project Cargo Operations Intern has broad-ranging authority over our customers’ shipments and covers a variety of job functions and specialties in the course of his/her internship. The position requires a well-rounded individual with a strong grasp of finance, customer relations, and detailed record keeping. Duties/Responsibilities: Build relationships with overseas agents Build relationships with US air and sea carriers Monitor inland transit in conjunction with Logistics Plus inland freight department. Maintain high level of communication with customer to keep them apprised of shipment status. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet the needs of our clients. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once. Allocate work time according to the priority of job assignments. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly and concisely, coordinate and execute work assignment(s) independently or in a team environment, direct others for effective results, and remain calm in stressful situations.
