ABOUT THE COMPANY

OMA is an international architecture and urbanism practice founded in 1975. With offices in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Australia, the practice is led by seven partners: Rem Koolhaas, Reinier de Graaf, Iyad Alsaka, Shohei Shigematsu (NY), Jason Long (NY), David Gianotten, and Chris van Duijn. QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
• High proficiency in English, and ideally a second language.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in and affinity with architecture.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, machine learning, or data analytics is highly desirable.
• Hands-on approach, self-disciplined, pro-active and confident in a fast-paced international working environment.
• Knowledge of OMA’s work and the architectural field in general.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) is preferred.

• European work permit is preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

OMA’s Rotterdam office is looking for a research intern to join our Business Development department from May 2025. The Business Development department works closely with design teams and office management to actively research and acquire projects in Europe, MENA and worldwide. As research intern, you will join our team in researching market trends, analyzing competition, and supporting business development initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in the architectural industry while developing valuable business skills.
