As our new Consumer & Sensory Research Data Science Intern, you will be joining Danone’s Global User eXperience (UX) team based in our Research and Innovation Center in Utrecht. You will be part of the UX Superiority team, where you will be involved in the data management of our consumer and sensory research program for a worldwide product portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our data management practices are robust, efficient, aligned with top business priorities and actioned by cross functional teams.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Regularly audit and verify the data integrity and reliability.
  • Participate in the creation and deployment of the data analysis training journey for both global and local UX partners
  • Contribute in leveraging existing data to identify and report key business performance indicators (KPIs) for various stakeholders profiles
  • Collaborate with local UX partners and cross-functional teams to address data management challenges and translate consumer insights into actionable applications.

About you

  • You are currently a student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Food Science, Marketing, Social Sciences or closely related field.
  • Committed to data integrity, and proficient with data management tools such as Excel. PowerBi is a plus
  • Confident in statistically analyzing data from various sources, i.e. Sensory or Consumer test data. R knowledge is a plus.
  • You possess strong project and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are able to work independently but have proven ability in building collaborative relationships.

As a Consumer & Sensory Research Data Science intern, data management will be second nature to you. You can transform data into actionable insights and have great attention to detail. On top of that? You’re an analytical thinker who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in September for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English – spoken and written.
  • You are able to work from our Utrecht office, at least 2 days per week.
