Job Title Internship: Supporting the ProCode Software development team Job Description Assignment type: Internship Start date: February 2026 Assignment duration: 6 months Location: Veghel Education level: Associate Degree/Bachelor Desired study: Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Software Developer Language: Dutch/English Description of assignment Depending on the knowledge, we have multiple possible assignments within our team: 1. Software upgrades are a vital part of the software lifecycle and can be challenging because they involve moving to new technologies. The Resource Planning tool that was built within the ProCore team uses deprecated technology. Investigate how to upgrade the software to latest supported versions, do the upgrade, create test scripts and test the result. This involves functionally understanding what the application does and technical knowledge of C# and React. This assignment is based on technology push without functional changes. 2. User experience is important for every application! Help us to improve the UX of one of our applications. Investigate improvements points based on interviews with users, already registered backlog tickets and other sources. Prioritize improvements together with Product Owner and Business responsible. And actually doing the software improvements, reviews and testing. This involves functionally understanding what the application does and technical knowledge of C# and React. This assignment is more functional / front-end driven. 3. Set up a Disaster recovery playbook for 1 or more applications. Can be combined with practically upgrading current outdated servers to newer versions. In this way student can get hands-on experience with setting up the application from scratch again according to the described playbook. Department description The ProCode Team is part of the ICT Core organization. Our team is the inhouse software development team for internal customers. We create and maintain applications and (API) connectors within the internal ICT landscape. The ICT organization works according to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in sprints of 2 weeks. It is an international team based in Veghel (NL), Belgrade (Serbia) and Pune (India). Tasks/responsibilities Depending on the agreed assignment the work includes: Investigate needs (functional / technical) Defining plan of approach Design software solution Making functional design Software development Working with Unit Tests Setting up test scripts Functional testing Aligning with business on User Acceptance Test Production deployment of changes Your profile Interested in Software Development Knowledge of C# required Preferably knowledge of React *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
