We are looking for an intern that is interested in participating in a fast-paced sustainability team. The field of Sustainability and ESG is developing constantly. New reporting standards, scientific insights, working groups, best practices and initiatives emerge in a rapid pace.
If you want to use and develop your analytic skills, knowledge about sustainability and ability to organize an implement while contributing to a program that evaluates and assesses nature related risks and opportunities, enhances biodiversity and ecosystem services, this internship might be for you!

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Conduct research to various reporting standards and guidelines in the fields of biodiversity, water, and chemical pollution.
• Provide daily support to ongoing global programs and cross functional activities (Eco-design, Climate Action, Life Cycle Assessment).
• Build the Natural Capital community by initiating engagement activities.
• Prepare the external report on Philips interdependencies with nature (TNFD).

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU‘LL NEED THE FOLLOWING;

• Studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field like Environmental Sciences or Business/Economics or Governance.
• Strong affinity with Sustainability, and knowledge about the Sustainability sector
• Structured, pro-active and independent working attitude.
• Excellent English verbal and written skills.

We offer you a hands-on role in a new and exciting sustainability program of Philips and work together with experienced and motivated professionals in the field of sustainability. • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
• Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
