Join period: Anytime from Jan 2026. As an intern in Wafer Technology for Equipment Engineering role, you can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience in supporting high-end equipment maintenance team with various tasks and projects. Your responsibilities may include assisting with routine inspections, setup and config the high-end equipment, learning how to perform basic and advanced preventative maintenance procedures, and shadowing experienced maintenance engineers to understand troubleshooting and repair processes. Job Description In your new role you will: Installing, and configuring new equipment with respect to manufacturing requirement Assisting with regular equipment and machinery inspections to assess their condition Participating in general maintenance and basic repair tasks, such as part replacement and minor repairs Learning and training in troubleshooting and repair processes from experienced engineers to understand maintenance procedures. Assisting in identifying and documenting maintenance activities,recording maintenance tasks, and creating maintenance schedules. Acquiring familiarity with safety regulations and industry-specific rules and regulations. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Currently studying 3rd or 4th year in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a relevant field Technical Skills: Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Attention to Detail: Strong observation skills and the ability to identify and address equipment issues Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues efficiently. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and document activities.
