INTERNSHIP WITHIN ELECTRIC PROPULSION (D/F/M)

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Development of test equipment for Electric Propulsion testing, such as thrust balance or plasma diagnostic systems.
- Electric Propulsion thruster development, including testing of thrusters under development.
- Cathode development by rapid prototyping.
- Development of test facility automation and control systems.
- And many other activities required in order to excel in Electric Propulsion Research and Development.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Space Engineering or an equivalent field of study.
- Hands-on experience in any technical field is desirable.
- Basic programming knowledge Matlab, Python and/or LabView.
- Good knowledge in your dedicated field of engineering.
- Good knowledge and understanding of measurement and control engineering.
- Basic knowledge of optical/laser engineering and plasma physics would be an asset.
- Fluent in English, German would be an advantage.
