ICBA is a unique applied agricultural research center in the world that is focused on marginal areas where an estimated 1.7 billion people live. It identifies, tests and introduces resource-efficient, climate-smart crops and technologies that are best suited to different regions affected by salinity, water scarcity and drought. Job Summary
The International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) is a non-profit applied agricultural research center that addresses food security and sustainable livelihoods in saline and arid environments. The ICBA Youth Engagement Strategy (ICBA YES) aims to foster meaningful involvement of young people in science, innovation, and sustainability by offering platforms for leadership, learning, and action.
The ICBA YES program supports youth-led initiatives, organizes innovation challenges, builds partnerships with universities, and develops science communication and capacity-building resources for youth audiences.
This internship offers an opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of youth engagement projects and activities under the ICBA YES program. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting strategic programming, communications, outreach, and events management.
